Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna heats your body directly without warming the air around you.

Mayo Clinic reports:

‘Several studies have looked at using infrared saunas in the treatment of chronic health problems, such as high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, headache, type 2 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, and found some evidence of benefit. ‘

We believe that the Far-Infrared sauna helps with the following conditions:

What does the Far-Infrared sauna do for the body?

  • Boosts Immune Response – Far-infrared is reported to stimulate the body’s own natural healing processes. Not only does it boost the immune response to colds, flu, and illnesses, but it is also helpful to those suffering from Seasonal Affected Disorder (SAD).
  • Heals Bruises, Cuts, and Scars – daily use of our far-infrared sauna can also promote the rebuilding of injured tissues by having a positive effect on fibroblasts (connective tissue necessary for the repair of cell injury). Far-infrared increases cell growth, DNA syntheses, and protein synthesis all during tissue repair.
  • Improves Skin – Far-infrared therapy has been shown to relieve acne, eczema, psoriasis, and burns. It also removes rough skin. Your skin is left soft and smooth with improved tone and elasticity. Far-infrared heat can improve circulation, expel dirt and chemicals, and remove dead cells from the surface of the skin.
  • Promotes Healthy Arteries – Deposits of fat, calcium, fibrin, and cellular debris can clog arteries, lessening their ability to expand and contract while slowing blood circulation. The far-infrared sauna heat can potentially help clean arteries by loosening these toxins and increasing blood flow throughout the body.
  • Kills Bacteria and Fungi – Far-infrared sauna therapy promotes the killing and removal of many disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
  • Detoxifies Entire System – Far-infrared sauna therapy is excellent for the body’s detoxification, eliminating heavy metals such as lead, mercury, aluminum, and cadmium. Far-infrared heat stimulates sweating, releasing deeply penetrated toxins in the body. This takes the detoxifying load off your liver and kidneys by directly eliminating the toxins through the skin. Two to three times more sweat is produced in the sauna than is possible in conventional hot air saunas.
  • Relieves Pain – For centuries, healthcare providers have used topical heat to relieve minor aches and pains, but today we are just beginning to understand the full range of therapeutic benefits that far-infrared heat offers. Through new clinical research, we have found that far-infrared heat activates complex neurological, vascular, and metabolic mechanisms to mediate the transmission of local pain signals and effectively provide relief for a variety of pain conditions.
  • Relaxes Muscles – Far-infrared heat relieves muscle tension and helps your body make the most of its intended healing abilities. Far-infrared heat reduces muscle spasms and soreness on nerve endings as muscle joints and fibers are heated in the sauna.
  • Increases Cardiovascular Fitness – The sauna helps people who don’t exercise enough to achieve the effects of cardiovascular training. As the body increases sweat production to cool itself, the heart works harder pumping blood at a greater rate to boost circulation, providing the conditioning benefits of continuous exercise. Heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate increase during far-infrared therapy, and diastolic blood pressure drops, boosting overall cardiovascular fitness.
  • Increases Metabolism, Weight Loss – Far-infrared heat also breaks down cellulite and trapped water, fat, and wastes, helping you to lose weight. You can burn 600 or more calories with just one 30-minute far-infrared heat session.
Ozone sauna

Ozone Sauna

Ozone Sauna is a new sauna technology that infuses oxygen through steam and hot air into your skin and body in a special cabin.  The Ozone Sauna detoxifies your lymphatic system, clears skin, relaxes your muscles, accelerates blood flow, speeds the healing process, and kills bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms.

Opening pores allows the ozone through the skin to the bloodstream, where it can travel to the fat and lymph tissue, clearing out any toxins through the natural process of waste elimination. This in turn can relieve your liver from its overwhelming tasks.

CellSpa Foot Bath

CellSpa

Use of a foot bath for detoxification has been studied, but it’s still unclear how they work. Possibly the small electric current that goes through the body promotes detox, or maybe it’s that it’s so relaxing to have your feet in warm water. Most people report feeling good after a session in the Cell Spa.
